About

Halton Master Gardeners:

• volunteer at local garden tours, Seedy Saturdays & garden shows
• assist with special community garden projects
• present to community groups & organizations
• answer gardening questions on CBC Radio Noon with Ed Lawrence
• host speakers at the Royal Botanical Gardens  
• lead workshops on garden related topics
• staff Royal Botanical Gardens hotline to answer gardening questions
• participate as speakers and volunteers at:
• • Royal Botanical Gardens Home Show
• • the spring Home Show in Oakville 
• • Canada Blooms in Toronto.    
• offer Advice Clinics at farmers’ markets in Dundas and Burlington

 

We also continue our learning through:

• monthly presentations
• educational garden tours
• technical updates hosted by organizations such as the Niagara School of Horticulture

Our meetings are:

• held in Burlington Ontario – Please contact us for details.
• held the first Wednesday of the month -7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• February to June and from September to December.
