Master Gardeners are dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers who answer gardening questions and offer horticultural advice to the public.

Take a few minutes to watch this video about being a member of Master Gardeners of Ontario.

The Master Gardener program started in Washington in 1972.  By 1991, Master Gardeners was operating in 45 U.S. states and 4 Canadian provinces. There are currently over 30 Master Gardener groups in Ontario!

Halton Region Master Gardeners are a group of enthusiastic gardeners living in the Ancaster, Burlington, Dundas, Milton, Hamilton and Oakville area.  We have diverse horticultural backgrounds and love to share our passion for gardening!
