What do Master Gardeners do?

  • VOLUNTEER at local garden tours, Seedy Saturdays & garden shows
  • ASSIST with special community garden projects
  • PRESENT to community groups & organizations
  • LEAD workshops on garden related topics
  • OFFER advice at Clinics held at farmers’ markets (i.e., Dundas, Ottawa Street, Burlington) and special events (Canada Blooms, Royal Winter Fair, Toronto Home Show)
  • SHARE knowledge through a monthly newsletter (Cross Pollination) and Social Media (Facebook, Instagram)

We also continue our learning through:

  • monthly presentations
  • educational garden tours
  • technical updates hosted by organizations such as the Niagara School of Horticulture

Our meetings are:

  • a blend of virtual and in-person (held in Burlington Ontario)
  • held the first Wednesday of the month -7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • February to June and from September to December.
