What do Master Gardeners do?
- VOLUNTEER at local garden tours, Seedy Saturdays & garden shows
- ASSIST with special community garden projects
- PRESENT to community groups & organizations
- LEAD workshops on garden related topics
- OFFER advice at Clinics held at farmers’ markets (i.e., Dundas, Ottawa Street, Burlington) and special events (Canada Blooms, Royal Winter Fair, Toronto Home Show)
- SHARE knowledge through a monthly newsletter (Cross Pollination) and Social Media (Facebook, Instagram)
We also continue our learning through:
- monthly presentations
- educational garden tours
- technical updates hosted by organizations such as the Niagara School of Horticulture
Our meetings are:
- a blend of virtual and in-person (held in Burlington Ontario)
- held the first Wednesday of the month -7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- February to June and from September to December.
