Our community programs, sales and clinics bring science-based gardening advice to Halton and Hamilton. Here’s what we run each year and where to find us next.
Monarch Awards
The City of Hamilton Monarch Awards recognize front-yard gardens that support pollinators, birds and other wildlife. The 2026 awards were celebrated on October 19, with 58 gardens recognized.
Garden Journeys Open Days
A free open-garden event across the City of Hamilton, showing sustainable, nature-friendly gardening up close. The 2026 Open Days ran August 8–9 and 14–16.
Monarch Awards and Garden Journeys are supported by the City of Hamilton City Enrichment Fund.
